My Process

Every commissioned piece starts with a detailed sketch, allowing you to see the initial vision for your portrait or artwork.
•Digital Mock-up with Photoshop: If requested
I use Photoshop to create a mock-up of your piece, allowing for adjustments or the inclusion of specific details before the painting process begins.
•Painting in Acrylics:
The artwork is then meticulously painted using high-quality acrylics. If you love textured brushstrokes, I can add additional depth and movement to your piece.
•Enhancing with Gold Mica & Leaf:
For an added touch of elegance, I offer the option to include gold or silver leaf, as well as gold mica, to give your portrait a luxurious and refined finish.
•Silk Varnish Finish:
The final piece is carefully varnished in a silk finish, ensuring its longevity and giving it a subtle sheen that enhances the colours and details.
